A little more about me

People move me—through their stories, emotions, and the quiet moments in between. I find joy in capturing them in their most meaningful moments: the laughter, the tenderness, the celebration.

I grew up in Stilbaai, a quaint beach town along the southern coast of South Africa. For 15 years, I was a rhythmic gymnast—an experience that gave me a deep appreciation for dancing, movement and the way it shapes how we feel, express ourselves, and connect with others.

My journey into photography began with a desire to find something both creative and deeply meaningful to serve people with. There has been a burning desire to use my creativity from a young age, but I never knew how I could until I picked up the camera. The beautiful dance between people, movement, light and nature immediately gave me a sense that I have finally found my calling within a career of photography - exhorting people by calling out the beauty within and without. Capturing the fleeting moments in life that help people remember who they are, where they come from and where they want to be headed.

This is why I am behind the lens. This is my calling.
